Gomatha Puja – Sacred Cow Worship

The Gomatha Puja honours Gomatha (also called Gau Mata or Komatha), the sacred mother cow revered in the Vedic tradition as a form of the Divine Mother. Vedic priests in Tamil Nadu, South India, worship a mother cow and her calf — adorning, feeding and honouring her with mantras and aarti — in your name and for your intentions. It is traditionally performed to invoke prosperity, peace and divine blessings, to bring peace to the ancestors and to clear karmic obstacles. After you book, you receive a calendar link to choose the date. A full video recording of your ceremony is included. If you would like to watch it live via Zoom, select the option below.
