Rainbow Room (Martini) - ASBURY PARK - Vintage Style T-Shirt in Light Colors

The Rainbow Room was the cocktail lounge of the Albion Hotel in Asbury Park, a hotel whose own matchbooks bragged that it was fireproof, new and completed in 1943. The lounge ran under a script neon sign and handed out red matchbooks with a martini glass on the front. The Albion later became a gathering place for Asbury Park's gay and lesbian community before it closed at the end of the 1980s, and the Rainbow Room's neon sign was saved; it now hangs at the Asbury Park transportation center. If you ever had a drink under that sign, this one's yours. This design is redrawn from the Rainbow Room's own matchbook cover: the martini glass with its bubbles popping, Rainbow Room arched over the top and Asbury Park, N.J. below. It's printed in black ink with a worn-in, distressed finish, so it looks like a shirt that has been through a few hundred washes, and on Sand it reads like a faded old matchbook.Printed to order on a Gildan 64000 softstyle tee: 100% ring-spun cotton at 4.5 oz/yd² (153 g/m²), quarter-turned so there is no crease down the center, with shoulder-to-shoulder taping and double stitching at the neckline and sleeves. Sport Grey is a 90/10 cotton-polyester blend and the heather colors are 65/35 polyester-cotton. The chest graphic runs 10 inches wide, set about two inches below the collar.Size guide LENGTH (inches) WIDTH (inches) S 28 18 M 29 20 L 30 22 XL 31 24 2XL 32 26 3XL 33 28
