F46-04 LAMP (ONE-OF-A-KIND)

The F46 Collection is an open-ended design experiment continuously resulting in drops of hand-made one-of-a-kind products made from repurposed graded plastic. This first batch is a small family of 12 unique lamps. Rooted in a primal urge to create, this project simply attempts to elevate a material which is often thought of as both worthless and problematic. The plastic at use is the flawed production from a Danish manufacturer of medical vials. But in the minds of AOT, it’s a resource of great possibilities if treated with respect, care and value. Through self-invented casting techniques they reshape the material and create a new narrative for this discarded plastic.
