Semperra — Muir Woods

Introducing Semperra, Guardian of the Woods, an original kaiju imagined by artist Eric Rewitzer for his Strange Beasts woodcut series. Inspired by the towering coastal redwoods of Northern California, Semperra is an ancient forest guardian whose powerful form and mysterious presence embody the strength and spirit of the natural world. Named in tribute to Sequoia sempervirens, the scientific name of the coast redwood, Semperra makes his debut in this original woodcut, standing among the magnificent trees of Muir Woods National Monument.
