Ice Skating by Jean de Brunhoff Poster

Ice Skating by Jean de Brunhoff captures the playful, storybook warmth that made the creator of Babar one of the most beloved illustrators of the twentieth century. The composition brings together figures on ice in de Brunhoff's characteristically gentle style — soft, rounded forms, a lighthearted sense of movement, and a colour palette that feels both nostalgic and inviting. There is a quiet joy to the scene, the kind that reads instantly across generations, from the very young to those who grew up with these characters and return to them with fond recognition. This print suits interiors where warmth and personality take precedence over minimalism. It would feel at home in a nursery or child's bedroom, but its vintage illustration quality gives it equal footing in a reading nook, a study lined with books, or a hallway where you want something with genuine character. It fits naturally within eclectic and traditional interiors, and pairs well with natural wood tones, warm whites, and soft earthy accents. The print is produced on 200 g/m2 FSC certified paper with a smooth, non-reflective matte finish that renders fine linework and subtle tonal gradations with clarity. Optional framing is available in black, white, or natural pine wood with shatterproof plexiglass, arriving ready to hang straight from the box.Orders are printed and dispatched within one to two business days, with delivery typically arriving within three to seven business days. Production is handled locally wherever possible, tracking is included with every order, and returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt.
