A conventional solid slider resists a hit but passes much of that force straight into the frame and engine mounts. TST's multi-piece puck is built around a crushable internal core that absorbs and spreads out impact energy instead, cutting peak impact force by up to 60% and lowering the risk of expensive frame and mount damage. Developed over more than two years of static and dynamic impact testing, the kit bolts to existing mounting points with no cutting, grinding or trimming of the fairings.
