Apantesis phalerata, commonly known as the harnessed tiger moth, is a species of moth within the Erebidae family. The bright adult coloration acts as aposematism, a visual warning to avian predators that the moth is toxic or highly unpalatable. To counter nocturnal predators like bats, which rely on echolocation rather than sight, tiger moths can emit ultrasonic clicking sounds to jam bat radar or signal their bad taste. Prints are available in standard frame sizes from A0 to A3, making framing the prints simple and affordable. All artworks are produced with a white border to accommodate artist signature and edition number. Prints are delivered in a secure tube by tracked international courier, full tracking information will be provided on dispatch.
