Compatible with most solvents and staining techniques. Pellet Form Melting point: 56°C (133°F) (ASTM). Paraplast X-tra 503002: Has a lower infiltration temperature that eliminates tissue “cooking,” which can cause distortion. Lower viscosity permits complete infiltration, and gives exceptional ribbon continuity with flat sections free of compression distortions. Pellet Form Melting point: 52°C - 50 to 54°C (122 to 129°F) (ASTM).
