Shadowrun: Anarchy 2.0 Alternate Core Rulebook

Fortune Favors the Bold The year is 2084. Nation-states are nothing more than puppets in the hands of megacorporations. Cutting-edge cybernetic implants and an omnipresent Matrix coexist with magic—returned from ancient times following the Awakening—and the dragons that came with it. In sprawling metropolises, where the wealthy elite live in high-tech enclaves surrounded by oceans of squalor, humans, orks, elves, trolls, and dwarves contend with the violence of society. You play as shadowrunners: expendable, independent operatives who secretly handle the dirty work in the war between the corps. While many are driven solely by the lure of profit, others—the idealists—still dream of toppling the system. Will you be a cyber-enhanced killing machine living by the street samurai code of honor? Will you channel the flow of mana as a mage? Will you prowl the Matrix as a decker? Or will you provide surveillance and tactical support with swarms of drones, like any good rigger? Shadowrunners live life on the edge. But to survive the corps and become a legend, you’ll need to be bold, take risks … and accept the consequences. Welcome to the shadows, omae, and may the spirits favor you. Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0 offers new, streamlined rules for the Shadowrun roleplaying game, designed to focus on the story.
