Glow Strength Weak Max Glow Forged from the energy of hope, this ring comes alive in the dark with a radiant blue glow. Charged by light, it shines as a reminder that even in the hardest moments, hope still endures. A closer look, from a customer One of my customers made this video showing the blue and green GLO rings. He kindly let me share it here. Video by LanterncastVIDS. Shared with permission. Watch the original video on YouTube. Handmade with Science Our rings glow through a process called photoluminescence. Strontium aluminate crystals inside the ring absorb energy from light sources like sunlight or UV lamps. This energy excites electrons in the material, pushing them into a higher state. When the light source is removed (darkness), the electrons slowly return to their normal state — releasing the stored energy as visible light. This is a safe, non-radioactive process. The real enchantment begins when you step from bright light into the shade — that’s when the glow reveals itself most beautifully. Direct sunlight or a UV flashlight work best for charging. SECRET WOODSGLO THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE MAGIC The colour of glow A visual guide to relative glow strength PIGMENT COLOUR⟶ BRIGHTER Typical relative brightness, ordered from strongest to weakest. Bar lengths are illustrative, not measured values. GREEN YELLOW GREEN AQUA BLUE SKY BLUE ORANGE WHITE RED ABOUT THIS CHART This shows a typical colour trend, not measured results for individual rings. Pigment blend, charging light, and surroundings all affect brightness and duration. Durable & Waterproof Chosen by hope. Ready for anything.
