Antique Georgian Emerald & Pearl Buckle Fidelity Ring

Dating to the very early 19th century, a very sweet and fond antique Georgian era double buckle design ring set with a matching pair of natural Emeralds and split natural Sea Pearls. A token of fondness and esteem; the buckle has long been taken to represent fidelity. Because of her age she is a very special find and as such should surely be treasured again... We have left this piece unpolished as we found her and so the images show darkening of the Gold; this can be polished up if preferred. For careful wear as her previous owner 200 years ago likely did not much more strenuous than embroidery and playing the pianoforte... Stone: antique hand cut natural Emeralds and halved wild Sea Pearls Metal: 18ct yellow Gold; unmarked as was custom at the time. Ring Size: A ring size 'L' or '5.75' and ideally we'd rather not alter. Boxes shown in the listings are not included in the purchase price but we will present this piece in a nice quality velveteen lined case.
