Glenfarclas 14 Year Old UK Limited Edition Single Malt Whisky This 14 Year Old single malt is a limited UK release from Glenfarclas, bottled at 46% ABV after maturation in sherry casks. With just 702 bottles produced, it offers whisky drinkers a chance to explore a less widely available expression from the Speyside distillery. Presented in a black Glenfarclas presentation box, it combines the distillery's clean malt character with rich vanilla, orchard fruit and creamy flavours. Golden amber with a warm, rich hue. Nose is exceptionally clean and fresh. Gentle malt and orchard fruit with hints of vanilla and dried fruit. Vanilla pod leads the opening. Rich clotted cream gives the whisky a smooth, creamy character. Light orchard fruit provides balance. Finish is sweet, rounded and layered. Gentle spice develops alongside polished oak. The restrained oak influence leaves the distillery character at the forefront. Serve with vanilla shortbread, apple tart or dried-fruit cake. Pair with dark chocolate, toasted nuts or a selection of mature cheeses.
