ThinkGrow ICL-150 Works Above, Beside or Under the CanopyMost supplemental bars are built for one position, but plant structure changes through the cycle. The ICL-150 can move with it. Its wide 150-degree beam lets it serve as a top light, a side light or an under canopy light. Hydrofarm lists four spectrum channels: full spectrum, deep red, far red and UV. The bar draws 120 watts and puts out up to 360 µmol/s of PPF. ThinkGrow rates it at up to 3.0 µmol/J, depending on the spectrum setting. The driver is built in and autosenses 100–277V, with a power factor of at least 90%. A sealed cover protects the diodes, and the housing is rated IP66. The bar itself measures about 45.3 × 3.55 × 2.72 in. ThinkGrow rates the diodes at L90 beyond 54,000 hours with a 5-year warranty.Mounting a Multi-Purpose LED Grow BarThe ICL-150 offers three mounting options. For top lighting, hook the two mounting holes and hang the bar from a secure point with rope, wire rope or cable. On Unistrut, bolt the bar to 1-5/8 in channel with user-supplied 1/4-20 screws and nuts. For under canopy use, set it on a pair of TSD-3 vertical stands at 8, 10, 12 or 14 inches. Test the support after hanging to confirm it carries the bar's full weight. Bars daisy-chain by locking the output port of one to the input port of the next. The power cord and stands are not included. The operating range is 32–104°F at up to 90% humidity. The boxed bar measures 46.54 × 4.09 × 3.03 in and weighs 6.50 lbs. For a single full spectrum channel at a narrower 120-degree beam, the ICL-120 is the simpler option.
