Save The Forest

Save the Forest (2021) is about survival, protection, and instinct. The forest becomes a reflection of the world we live in. Each animal carries its own way of moving through danger. Some watch, some hide, some fight, and some run. The words throughout the painting move between warning, humor, and truth. “Cut the snakes in the grass” speaks to knowing what surrounds you. The chaos of the painting reflects what it feels like to constantly navigate and protect your space. At the center of the work is the question of what we choose to protect and what it takes to survive. Mixed media on canvas. 2021 5 ft x 7 ft
