Carn, Causeway Coast and Glens | Travel Poster

The old stone tower gives Carn's green countryside a quiet, solitary mood, surrounded by rolling fields and distant hills, Its soft light and measured view give the place a quietly memorable character. A tall cylindrical tower stands to the right of centre, rising from a patchwork of fields. Hedgerows divide the slopes into irregular shapes, and scattered farm buildings sit among the trees. The land continues towards a hazy low ridge beneath a wide sky crossed by pale clouds. Carn is shown here in its surroundings. For someone familiar with the Causeway Coast and Glens, the tower gives this rural view a distinct point of recognition. Its isolated position among fields makes the surrounding farmland and distant ridge part of the same scene. The familiar details make this view easy to place for anyone who has spent time in the area.
