These kits combine our straight joining plates with matching 90° corner brackets, making it easier to order the hardware needed for complete sleeper layouts in one go. The straight joining plates are designed for points where two railway sleepers continue in the same direction. They bridge the joint between the timbers and provide a simple way to reinforce longer runs, walls and planter sides. The matching 90° corner brackets are used where two sleepers meet at a right angle. Each bracket wraps around the outside of the corner, with folded top sections sitting over the timber to help locate the bracket and provide a neat, secure connection. By combining both bracket styles, these kits are ideal for everything from a simple square raised bed to longer rectangular planters and larger sleeper structures. Choose the kit layout that best matches your project, then select the correct bracket size for the timber sleepers you are using. Each bracket is manufactured in the UK from 2mm British steel and finished in a durable Textured Black powder coat. Please measure your timber before ordering. Corner brackets are intended for 90° connections. Straight joining plates are intended for sleepers continuing in the same direction. The folded top sections on the corner brackets include approximately 4mm additional clearance over the nominal short-side timber dimension. Project layouts vary, so please check how many corner and straight connections your build requires before selecting a kit.
