Tensar Biaxial Geogrid 20 kN/m (TGSG2020)

Extruded polypropylene biaxial geogrid with a nominal tensile strength of 20 kN/m in both machine and cross-machine directions. Used to stabilise granular layers over weak or variable subgrade in light to medium duty applications. Applications Access tracks and site roads Car parks and light-traffic hardstanding Driveways, paving and landscaping over soft ground Subbase reinforcement beneath residential and estate roads Shallow embankment and slope reinforcement How it works Aggregate partially penetrates the apertures and is confined by the surrounding ribs. This restrains lateral spread under load, stiffens the granular layer and distributes wheel loads over a wider area of subgrade — allowing a thinner layer for the same performance, or longer service life at the same thickness. Specification Polymer: polypropylene with UV stabiliser Structure: biaxial, extruded and biaxially stretched Tensile strength: 20 kN/m longitudinal and transverse Roll size: 4m m x 75 m Coverage: 300 m² per roll Installation Roll out onto prepared subgrade with joints overlapped 300–600 mm depending on subgrade strength.
