Drosera Capensis – Bainskloof

Drosera capensis ‘Bainskloof’ – Local is Lekker Drosera capensis ‘Bainskloof’ is a distinctive South African locality form of our much-loved Cape Sundew, originating from the Bainskloof Pass area of the Western Cape. Unlike the longer, more sprawling leaves of typical D. capensis, ‘Bainskloof’ develops a compact, stockier rosette with broader, paddle-shaped leaves covered in masses of sparkling, insect-catching dew. Under good light, the foliage can also develop gorgeous pink and reddish tones. 🪰🌿 Easy to grow but different enough to keep collectors interested, this is a fantastic little South African Sundew with plenty of personality.
