Description Our Babyalpaca Los Andes is a wonderfully soft, thick yarn made of pure alpaca wool. This Bulky weight yarn makes it easy to knit wonderfully cosy garments. Los Andes is made from the fleece of young alpacas and is, therefore, particularly fine and soft. The fibre comes from animals from the Andes highlands of Peru. Los Andes is available in 8 beautiful natural shades. The yarn is spun in Peru. Babyalpaca Los Andes is a two-ply yarn. The voluminous yarn is nice to work with and has a very even stitch definition. Los Andes is perfect for all kinds of textured patterns, but also looks very nice in stockinette stitch. The wool has a soft fleece.
