Suitable fabrics - light weight woven such as linen, cotton lawn, cotton poplin, Tencel or Indian handlooms. We made our Stratus Mathilde by using the cloth across grain so that we could use the selvedge stripes as a hem border. To do this, you need to buy a total of 2.4M for sizes 6-16, and 2.8M for sizes 18-28. When cutting out, the 1M length of the skirt runs across the width of the fabric, and the hem runs parallel to the selvedge. *Please note that this pattern is instructions only including a set of measurements to cut out your skirt.
