ABOUT THE ARTISANS This scarf was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in the Himalayas. The artisans use traditional Nepalese felting techniques to embellish the silk, creating a stunning effect. The women are paid fair wages, work in safe, healthy conditions and receive job training skills.
