Tudor Black Bay (2016)

This 2016 Tudor Black Bay (often called the "Black Bay" or "Smiley" reference #79220N is one of the shortest production references in Tudor's history, making it a collectors chase. The 41mm steel case, which features the iconic gilt snowflake hands and a matte black anodized aluminum bezel with a red triangle at 12, is modeled after Tudor's 1970s Submariners. Its matte black dial features gilded indexes, the Tudor rose logo that was eventually discarded, and the adored smiling detail, where the self-winding text bends upward like a grin. The Tudor-modified ETA Caliber 2824, a sturdy automatic with a 38-hour reserve and 200 meters of water resistance, is located inside. The watch comes with a full set and includes the original box papers dated 2016. The watch is in good condition with minor signs of wear consistent with regular handling.
