Stay Where I Can Reach You is a one of a kind original painting by Noemi Safir from the series My Body Remembers You. Two female figures are separated by a solid structure, yet their hands remain connected at its edge. The painting explores the effort the body makes to preserve closeness. One figure bends her entire body around the barrier in order to maintain contact, turning attachment into a physical act. Through gesture, tension and restricted space, Safir examines how love, safety and emotional dependence can become intertwined, until keeping someone within reach begins to feel like a condition of connection. Each original painting is signed in the front and arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
