0.3ct Natural Green Parti and Natural Illusion Set Diamond Leaf Halo Pendant, 9ct Yellow Gold, 0.72g

Honestly - if we could find more vintage diamond halos we would! We have genuinely scoured everywhere for more fabulous diamond halo settings, as set with a natural sapphire, these have been such hits with you all. this fabulous little pendant features milgrain edges - which is one of our favourite things about vintage pieces. The time and skill to roll the milgrain tool around the edges of all the leaves to leave that delicate bump details which catch the light beautifully (so much prettier in person than that clunky description). Set in each of these leaves are 10 single cut diamonds. Single cut diamonds were super fashionable in the late 1800s to the mid 1900s - a way to cut small gemstones by hand before laser cutting of tiny brilliant diamonds. They feature a flat table, 8 further top facets and 8 bottom facets. Called “huit huit” from the French for 8/8 which we love. In the centre is a fabulous little seafoam and green little parti pear. It is small and fabulous in its colour against the rhodium plating of the leaves, the yellow of the claws and the glinting of the huit huit diamonds. Held on a split v-bail of 9ct yellow gold we love the mixed metal, the vintage sparkles and that lovely new natural diamond. Particulars: Weight 0.72g Width pear sapphire - natural green parti - 0.3ct known weight 10 x 1mm natural single cut diamonds - 0.05ct combined 8.9 x 16.2 x 5.4mm bail opening 3.9 x 2.2mm Hallmarks "375" Condition - new hero stone - light weight to metal and stones. Face is rhodium plated - you can see the gold peeking through in places.some milgrain edges on the left as you look at the pendant have been lost to the sands of time. Care - As a general rule - jewellery should not be worn for strenuous tasks that may put pressure, chemicals and weight on them (think cleaning, gym, swimming/spa, carrying things). Jewellery should be inspected checked every six months by a jeweller to check for wear. Please be aware that this item is pre-loved and therefore is NOT new.
