Deploying the outer cover releases a pair of straps the user can stand in, relieving pressure on the legs and reducing the risk of suspension trauma after a fall arrest.The straps deploy with an easy velcro release, are portable enough to fit to any harness and use adjustable hook and loop fastening so the operator can find the most comfortable standing position. They are made from polyester webbing, weigh 0.7kg for the pair and are rated to 136kg for use with a standard fall arrest lanyard.
