The Flaming Lips x OKC Comets Pink Robot Hat

The Flaming Lips bring one of their most iconic characters to the ballpark for this limited-edition Local Legends cap with the Oklahoma City Comets. The design reimagines the Pink Robot from the band’s landmark album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots as a baseball player decked out in a cap and stepping up to the plate with a bat in hand. The design places the band’s pink robot artwork at the center of a classic baseball silhouette, then carries the collaboration across the side panels with The Flaming Lips lettering and the Comets’ space-age mark. Psychedelic artwork beneath the brim and along the adjustable back strap makes the cap feel pulled directly from The Flaming Lips’ surreal visual world. Pink contrast stitching and yellow finishing details complete a hometown release that brings Oklahoma City’s music and baseball identities together from every angle.
