Maple Wood Blanks
Maple wood blanks (square) Appearance: Pale cream to light brown with a fine, attractive grain and a clean, natural appearance. Workability: Easy to machine, turn, sand and finish, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced woodworkers. Grain: Generally fine and close-grained, giving a smooth surface when sanded. Uses: Ideal for woodturning, carving, furniture, joinery, handles, small boxes, pens, ornaments and craft projects. Notes: *UK orders only. These Maple blanks have been kiln dried. All sizes are approximate, many pieces have a bit more than stated. It is strongly suggested the wood isn't stored in direct sunlight or somewhere very warm as this potentially can cause splitting to the wood.
