The Rugged Obsidian 45 is a modular, multi-caliber suppressor rated for .45 ACP, 9mm, 10mm, .40 S&W, .45 Colt, .300 BLK subsonic, 350 Legend, .450 Bushmaster, 458 SOCOM, and most common lever-action calibers. In standard configuration it measures 8.6 inches and weighs 12.8 oz. With the ADAPT Module removed it drops to 6.7 inches and 10.7 oz. The baffles are machined from 17-4 stainless steel barstock and feature two indexing tabs that ensure proper alignment during reassembly. Every baffle can only go back together the correct way, which matters for a user-serviceable pistol suppressor that will see regular cleaning. The baffle design also creates a gas seal between the baffles and the tube that virtually eliminates carbon migration into that interface, which is one of the most common causes of difficulty when cleaning and disassembling pistol suppressors.
