Earthbound

A fine art photograph capturing the extraordinary colours and textures of Iceland’s volcanic landscape, where golden mountains descend into a wide riverbed shaped by water, weather and time. The almost monochromatic palette gives the scene an otherworldly quality, while the winding river creates a sense of movement through an otherwise still landscape. Iceland is never quite the same landscape twice. Weather, light, water and the seasons are constantly reshaping what we see. This photograph is therefore more than a record of a place, t is a way of holding onto a particular moment in its transformation, knowing that the landscape will continue to evolve long after the photograph was taken. A distinctive piece of Icelandic photography, volcanic landscape wall art and nature-inspired fine art photography, bringing the vastness and unpredictability of Iceland into the home.
