Ambre Rubis

Ambre Rubis is a warm, Cherry, Amber scent created for Men and Women in 2024 by perfumers Luca Maffei and Antoine Lie. Review This scent is sweet and warm. It opens with a sweetness similar to a scented doll’s hair type of aroma, possibly from a blend of the Blood Orange and Cherry, but quickly warms into the essence of the Cherry note. The Rhum, Amber and Fir Balsam add warmth and depth. The Incense adds a faint smokiness and the Blood Orange adds a subtle brightness that both lie just under the surface of everything. It doesn’t feel gourmand, or syrupy or candy-like, or even particularly boozy, but warm, sultry and inviting with a subtle sweetness. This is a sexy Cherry and Amber scent. It’s not overly Cherry, but just enough. It feels like a grown up, mature Cherry scent. It has an air of sophistication, confidence and intrigue. This is the scent you wear to get all dolled up and go out for an evening of drinks with friends. Its warmth makes it a great scent for Fall, Winter and Spring and it will last on the skin with its Eau de Parfum Extreme essence. It does have a bit more of a formal or dressy feel to it, but it is a scent that can be worn pretty much and time, place or occasion, and anytime you want to make a lasting impression. Inspiration Ambre Rubis was inspired by the ‘King of Gems’, a massive Ruby found in Myanmar in Southeast Asia. The Ruby symbolizes vitality, courage and prosperity, and Ambre Rubis embodies this essence, capturing its mystical aura and symbolic richness. Notes This scent opens with the Cherry coming up from the heart and blending with the Blood Orange to create a subtle sweet warmth. Slowly the Cherry becomes more prominent, with Rhum, Amber and Fir Balsam adding a cozy, yet sensual warmth. Jasmine adds a very subtle creamy quality, but never inserts a floral essence into the scent. The Incense brings a gentle smokiness, and the Blood Orange lies just under the surface to keep that hint of sweetness. Cedarwood and Woods bring up the base of the scent, not really adding a woody tone, but helping with longevity. You can’t really smell the Pink Pepper, but has a type of sparkly quality that is likely helping with the overall brightness of the feel of the scent.
