For the very first time, we’ve developed a custom rotor specifically for this edition. Shaped like a classic ship’s wheel, it brings the Hamburg’s maritime heritage to life on both the front and the back of the watch. Every wrist movement offers a glimpse into the true heart of the timepiece. A rotor that continues the story. Automatic watches thrive on movement. With every motion of your wrist, the rotor winds the mainspring, powering the watch. For the Hamburg Automatic Edition Küste 2.0, we completely redesigned this component: replacing the traditional half-moon rotor, it features a first-of-its-kind ship’s wheel rotor with a dark blue PVD coating that perfectly mirrors the dial’s palette. This maritime motif seamlessly fuses mechanics and aesthetics, turning the case back into a true highlight.
