Woodworking Level 2 July 28 [Tuesdays - 6 week Comprehensive]

Woodworking Level 2 at TTLMakerspace Note: This course requires previous completion of Intro to Woodworking In this course at TTLMakerspace, you will use and expand upon the skills learned in Intro Woodworking. Working in a small group with dedicated instructor, you'll expand your skills in two practical box-building projects designed to develop deeper understanding of woodworking. Build up confidence in the shop and learn new, valuable woodworking techniques. Materials and equipment for all projects are provided with the course. Schedule: Six three-hour weekly classes, Tuesdays 10am to 1pm. Outcomes: At the end of this course you will have achieved the following goals: Become more comfortable milling rough lumber Complete mitered corners Complete box joints Use a spline jig Complete inlays Install hinges Apply finishes Learn how to plan projects efficiently with minimal waste Following this course, you'll be certified to use the woodshop.
