Peter Protzman, Herman Miller, American Mid-Century Modern, Rare Writing Desk, Zebrawood, Chrome, USA, 1970s A unique writing design designed by Peter Protzman for Herman Miller that was only in profuection for two years (1970-1971) making it a rare and limited work. The smooth, curved edge of the exotic, African zebrawood surface is unlike any desk you will find today. It seems to levitate between the two rounded chrome frames on either side. Two Lucite lined drawers on either side of the center pencil drawer. This desk maintains it's original manufacturer labels on the interiors of both file cabinets as well as a 'Herman Miller' sticker on the reverse of the backside.
