If the house safety switch or circuit breaker is tripping, the brew boiler element or another electrical component may have failed; this kit will not repair a failed heating element. A blown thermal fuse is usually the result of another fault. Check the thermostat, wiring, temperature sensing, and triac/control circuit so the cause of the overheat is corrected before the machine is returned to service. Use the supplied crimp terminals when fitting the thermal fuse. Do not solder directly to the fuse, because soldering heat can damage it. Apply the supplied thermal compound when installing the thermostat so it makes proper thermal contact with the boiler. Need More Than This?
