It is the garden of Eden read as a still life, painted rather than photographed, and at full scale a single branch runs the length of a trouser leg.The top wraps rather than buttons. It crosses to a deep V under a narrow stand collar and ties with its own sash at the side waist, the ends left long. The sleeves are cut wide and flare open at the wrist. The trousers sit high, fall wide, and gather softly at the ankle, so the silhouette narrows at the very end. Worn together it reads as loungewear.
