Silk Crepe & Brocade Jacket

All of Me Silk Crepe & Brocade Jacket This cropped jacket is part of my All of Me Collection and was created as an Indigenous couture piece that brings together luxury fabrics, beadwork materials, and details from my own design perspective. The base of the jacket is made with four-ply silk crepe, a heavier and more substantial silk fabric created with multiple plies of silk yarn. Compared with lighter silks, four-ply crepe has more weight and structure while still having the natural drape and feel of silk. The jacket is finished with a black floral brocade overlay, adding texture and dimension to the design. The back is embellished with hand-dyed dentalium shells, stainless steel accents, and Preciosa crystals. These details should be handled with care to protect the shells and embellishments over time. This is a non-stretch, unisex jacket in size XL with a cropped silhouette designed to sit above the hips.
