Aetheron Petite - White Oak Wine Glass Display

For those who see a wine glass not just as a vessel, but as a piece to be displayed — the Aetheron Petite turns glasses into a floating gesture of form and balance. The Aetheron Petite is a single continuous ribbon of white oak, coaxed through a specially processed lumber technique into a rising spiral that appears to defy the rigidity of the wood it came from. Hand-fitted collars cradle wine glasses by the stem, suspending them in space along the twist. Each Aetheron is shaped, dried, and finished individually in a small artisan workshop located in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin. After forming, each piece undergoes a controlled drying period before it's trimmed, sanded, and finished by hand. Because the process can't be rushed, production may take several weeks per piece.
