Large DayDreamer Maestro - Conway Stewart Moonlight A DayDreamer in an original Conway Stewart acrylic that came from a sample box. We don't know how original name so we're calling it "Moonlight". This is the Maestro version featuring a pocket clip and an accent ring at the section and one at the cap finial. A balanced blend of elegance and simplicity, perfect for those who appreciate refined details. Craftsmanship Note: As with many vintage acrylics, this Conway Stewart material benefits from a gentler machining approach than modern plastics. To ensure a durable cap thread without placing unnecessary stress on the vintage acrylic, the cap has been fitted with a discreet black acrylic thread liner. The subtle black lip at the cap opening is part of this considered engineering solution. Natural Metal Finishes If your pen has metal accent rings then it will be finished with a coat of Renaissance Wax to help preserve their lustre. Like many natural metals they may still develop a patina over time. This is particularly noticeable on concealed areas such as the section inside the cap, where traces of moisture and reduced airflow can encourage the natural ageing process. This is a normal characteristic of the material and part of its unique character. If preferred, the original shine can be restored in a few seconds with a soft jeweller's polishing cloth.
