Loving Awareness: Floral Arrangement and Tea

Come arrange signature blooms while sipping tea to ground into the present moment. No prior floral experience needed. Floral arrange in a small vessel, using sustainable methods. We will be cutting stems and arranging blooms based on height and color to create a beautiful floral design to take home that lasts for 1-2 weeks, and skills you can take with you forever. Flowers are nature’s teachers, and their beauty and our connection to them helps us connect to our own innate beauty and joy while working with them. About Danielle Danielle Roz is a wedding and event florist with a background in the healing arts. She has done flowers for weddings in LA, San Diego, Washington, Napa Valley and New York. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she comes from a blended Jewish and Indigenous family. Her floral studio, Kalanit, is named after her Hebrew name, which honors the Kalanit (anemone) wildflower that grows in Israel and occupied Palestine. Since 2018, Danielle has worked in the floral and wedding industry, creating nature- inspired designs that celebrate beauty, connection, and meaningful moments doing weddings in Southern California, Napa Valley, Washington and New York. She is passionate about sustainability and believes flowers have a unique ability to bring people into the present moment. In addition to her floral work, Danielle is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology at California State University, Los Angeles. Her work is deeply influenced by her love of nature, mindfulness, and community. A guiding principle in Danielle's life comes from the Sanskrit yoga blessing, Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu: "May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may my thoughts, words, and actions contribute in some way to the happiness and freedom of all."
