The BOSS WL-50 brings wireless freedom to your pedalboard in a compact, stompbox-sized format. Using BOSS digital wireless technology, the system delivers a wide dynamic range, ultra-low 2.3 ms latency, and a transmission range of up to 65 feet. Setup is completely automatic: simply dock the transmitter in the receiver for about 10 seconds and the WL-50 selects the optimum wireless connection with no manual channel configuration required. The receiver fits alongside your other pedals and features an integrated transmitter dock for charging and wireless setup. Two selectable cable tone simulations reproduce the natural capacitive effect of short or long guitar cables with passive pickups, while a bypass setting is ideal for active instruments and acoustic/electric guitars with onboard preamps. A standard 1/4" input also allows the receiver to be used with a conventional instrument cable when needed. When powered with an optional BOSS PSA-S adaptor, the WL-50 can distribute DC power to additional pedals using an optional PCS-20A daisy-chain cable. For mobile setups, the receiver can operate for approximately seven hours on two AA batteries. The rechargeable WL-T transmitter provides up to 12 hours of continuous playing time and can be charged through the receiver dock or directly via USB. Up to 14 compatible BOSS wireless systems can operate simultaneously, depending on local conditions.
