These are hand cut and hand painted by artisans in Haiti. As you may or may not know Haiti is near and dear to our founder, Jessica Burmester, also a Century graduate. Your purchase supports these artisans and their families. **Ornaments are about 3 inches x 3 inches **Ornaments will have a twine like string for hanging. **Ornaments hope to be in stock by mid December-Please note there is a chance they will be ready to ship out before Christmas but not guaranteed. -------------- Handmade Haitian metal art. Using a recycled 55-gallon oil drums, Haitian artists cut and flatten the oil drum. Then with chalk, the design is drawn onto the metal sheet. Using a hammer, chisel and various primitive tools, the shape is cut and the various decorative patterns are pounded into the metal, creating a unique piece of amazing art. The finished design is signed by the artist and coated with a protective finish.
