Aberfeldy 2013 | 9 Year Old Douglas Laing Premier Barrel Single Cask
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46% Distilled at Aberfeldy in 2013 and matured for 9 years before being bottled by Douglas Laing for their Premier Barrel range. This Highland single malt was drawn from a single cask and bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring. The release was limited to just 419 individually numbered ceramic decanters. Douglas Laing's Premier Barrel range takes inspiration from the traditional ceramic whisky decanters of the Victorian era, with each release presented in a distinctive handmade ceramic bottle. Aberfeldy's spirit is traditionally produced using long fermentation times and unusually tall pot stills, helping to create the fruity, honeyed character for which the distillery is known. Releases such as this offer an opportunity to explore that spirit independently of the distillery's own bottlings. Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
