Newstead Draught - ESB - Single

Newstead Draught is a brand new and our first ever Extra Special Bitter or ESB. ESB's are characterised by their malt forward body, with balanced bitterness and mild hop presence. Newstead Draught lives up to that beautifully, pouring a rich amber colour from a combination of classic English malts. On the nose, we're getting plenty of caramel and toffee that gives way to a subtle yeast ester and lightly fruity hop note. Take a sip and you'll be met with a medium bodied palate coater that brings rich amber notes of toasted rye, caramel and just a hint of citrus kick. The finish blends a beautifully balanced bitterness that compliments the toasted malts perfectly. ABV: 5.3% Hops: none Allergens: Gluten, Barley Vegan: Yes
