The companion piece to my mother of pearl inlay ammonite ring — built around a genuine fossilized ammonite, inlaid with individually placed mother of pearl pieces that fan out from the center in a shimmering mosaic. At the heart of the spiral, the ammonite's own fossilized material remains visible — a glimpse of the ancient creature preserved within. Hand fabricated in sterling silver with a formed bail.
