Sacred Medal of Guan Yin and the Most Venerable Luang Phor Noi Juntho from Wat Huay Sai Tai # 881

This Thai Buddhist medal features on both sides a representation of Guan Yin, a great figure of compassion, and that of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Noi Juntho. It was consecrated in 2003 at Wat Huay Sai Tai, in the province of Petchaburi in Thailand. One side depicts Guan Yin standing, surrounded by two kneeling figures. The goddess of compassion appears in a long, richly detailed robe, in an iconography characteristic of the East Asian Buddhist tradition. The other side features Luang Phor Noi Juntho seated in meditation, wearing his monastic robe. Inscriptions in Thai script surround both representations.
