Whether you want to make artwork that is realistic or abstract, all art shares the same fundamentals. Beginning with traditional forms of drawing, this 4-week class will start by teaching comparative measurement, and the basic techniques artists have used to draw for hundreds of years. Syllabus Week 1 Master Copy Bargue Drawing- Introduce Comparative Measurement. Week 2 Master Copy Bargue Drawing- Understanding hard and soft edges. Week 3 Drawing Landscapes- Composition. Week 4 : Drawing Landscapes- Texture. Cost: $200 Participants: 9 Level: Adult, Beginers Supplies: All supplies included Bio: About William William Demaria is a Baltimore based artist who has always loved drawing and traditional oil painting. He finds the process of creating artwork itself to be beautiful and has always been interested in studying the way artwork is made. He believes that every student, no matter their skill level, has an individual voice that should be developed.
