KUURA Teacup by Minna Graham — Oyster
Our classic ceramic KUURA teacups are handmade by Minna Graham in her Daylesford studio. Over the years, we have commissioned these specific teacups from Minna in a variety of glazes including KUURA Teacup by Minna Graham — Cornflower. This oyster edition is a re-commission of the original version of the KUURA teacup, used and loved by us (and many) since 2018. These angular teacups have a rich metallic black exterior glaze with a contrasting creamy white interior glaze; both in a satin finish. The inner rim of the teacup features a deep, mossy green, drip-like glaze that has a distinctly glossy lustre. The teacups have a short and wide profile that flares at the mouth, making them comfortable to hold and easy to drink from. Their faceted shape and un-footed base also mean the cups are stackable and stable when placed on a variety of surfaces. As with most of our Minna Graham teaware, these teacups are made from smooth stoneware and have been fired in a gas kiln meaning that each cup's texture, colour, and shape are one-of-a-kind. They pair wonderfully with the similarly shaped Black Beaker by Minna Graham. Each teacup can hold around 50 to 60ml of liquid. Please note: Each purchase is for a single teacup.
