American Articulated Steam Locomotive
Two engines, one boiler, and a station waiting for it. The largest steam locomotives ever put into regular service were articulated — two full sets of driving wheels hinged under a single enormous boiler, built for mountain grades no ordinary engine could face. This build recreates that giant in 1,277 pieces and 52.6 cm of black and silver boiler, riding a full section of brown-sleeper track. Coupling rods link the twin driver groups below the polished boiler barrel, and the coal tender follows on multi-axle bogies. Beside the line stands a complete station waiting hall — pitched roof, signal light, bench and stacked luggage on the platform. Articulated layout — two complete driving wheel sets under one boiler Silver-finished boiler barrel over black frames and running gear 52.6 cm locomotive and tender on an included track section Complete station waiting hall with pitched roof and cupola Platform details — signal light, bench and stacked luggage 1,277 pieces, printed instruction manual included Delivered in the 24builds® Collector's Box. Mountains made them build it this big.
