Wizard Of Oz: Mini Program – Saturday

Grades: Kinder & 1st Creative Team: Paula and Sabrina Auditions: None Rehearsals: Saturdays, 8/29-10/31 (9 rehearsals) Note: No rehearsal Sat. 9/5 (Labor Day Weekend) Times: 11:30 AM-12:30 PM Dress/Tech Rehearsal: Sat., 11/7 from 11:30 AM-1 PM Performance: Sun., 11/8 at 12:30 PM PLEASE READ NOTE TO GUARDIANS: Our minis program is intentionally and lovingly designed to introduce our youngest students to the theatre. The show is written and directed so that each child will have an opportunity to shine and feel challenged. With very few exceptions, all kids are in all songs and dances. We do not hold auditions for the minis program, as it is not about individual roles. It’s an opportunity to work together to put on a show and introduce the idea of community—the bedrock of Village Arts. Roles will not be switched once assigned, but our teachers will work hard to ensure that each child has their moment to shine both individually and with the group.
