OLD FORESTER 1924 BOURBON 10YR
Old Forester, the first bourbon sold exclusively in sealed bottles, distills 1924 at its Louisville, Kentucky home on Whiskey Row. It runs a mash bill made just for this release — 79% corn, 11% rye and 10% malted barley — leaning harder on grain character than the flagship. The whiskey ages ten years and bottles at 100 proof, deep enough to carry serious oak. Fudge, cocoa and cured tobacco lead into clove, black pepper and caramel, with a long finish of bitter chocolate and grilled pineapple.
